With more than three decades’ experience under his belt, Terry Taylor is one of the most practiced veterans within the WWE Performance Center. He first rose to prominence in the heyday of wrestling’s territory system in the 1980s, capturing titles and gaining fans as he traveled from one regional organization to another. Always lauded for his technical proficiency but never afraid to throw fists, Taylor embarked on a career that eventually spanned the National Wrestling Alliance, World Championship Wrestling and WWE.
Once retired from the squared circle, Taylor moved behind the scenes, working within the creative teams for WCW and WWE. In 2012, he became a trainer for WWE’s Developmental System, where he continues to pass down the traditions of the ring and teach his battle-tested technique to the Superstars of tomorrow.
