Johnny Moss started his career in 1997, training under Andre Baker at the NWA-UK Hammerlock Wrestling School in Kent, England. Over the course of his illustrious 20-year career, Moss held countless regional titles, and he claimed championship victories over UFC Hall of Famer Dan Severn and WWE Hall of Famer Jake Roberts. Moss also wrestled in more than 20 countries, including Qatar, Dubai, the United States, Canada, Germany, Italy and Belgium.
Hammerlock Wrestling provided Moss his first foray into coaching, as he helped the likes of former Universal Champion Finn Bálor and Noam Dar break into sports-entertainment. In 2014, Moss opened his own school, Johnny Moss’ School of Hard Knocks & Hammerlocks, which had students travel from as far as Australia, California, Sweden and Romania. After two guest-coaching appearances in Orlando, Fla., Moss joined the WWE Performance Center as a full-time coach in 2017.
