One of the true masters of British wrestling, Robbie Brookside was an active in-ring competitor for more than 30 years. Breaking into the sport as a teenager, Brookside came to fame in the U.K.’s rough-and-tumble wrestling scene in the 1980s, often teaming alongside WWE legend William Regal, who counts Brookside among the greatest influences on his career.
Brookside evolved into a successful singles competitor, gaining valuable experience in the U.S. and Japan while continuing to proudly carry on British wrestling’s time-honored traditions. After running his own wrestling school in England, Brookside joined the ranks of the WWE Performance Center coaching staff, allowing him to share his unique insights with prospects as they prepare for their WWE careers.
